How to tell if you are consuming too much caffeine on a daily basis

I paid R70 at makro Montague last month for the 200g (i ended up buying 2) because woolworths was R10 more expensive
well I could have used that information A MONTH AGO :p

I find it therapeutic to grind the beans, boil the water in a stovetop kettle on a gas hob and brew the coffee in a french press. That is how I make coffee. At work we have a bean-to-cup machine which makes acceptable coffee.
ja I have that. too much effort to clean...

nescafe gold is also terrible to be honest. we have nescafe at work and i have 6 cups during the day whereas at home i only have 1 cup which tides me over for the day easily

the best instant kind for me is
Jacobs Kroning or Douw egberts....

also 200g of jacobs is R70 bucks at checkers at the moment...

Thanks for the tip. I only get coffee when it is on sale, and its either Jacobs or (as I call it) Dogberts. Dogberts is R129 at PNP right now, so I've been drinking more tea since my coffee supply is running low.

I'm thinking of wiring up my arduino so I can wake up to automated drip coffee since I'm too lazy to make real coffee in the mornings, weekends aside.

That is true. I spent an hour or so cleaning my machine the other night, but I say the convenience more than makes up for the effort required to clean it. I have the Saeco Minuto, minuto meaning minute in Italian and barring the time it takes to warm up it literally does take a minute or less to prepare a great cappuccino direct from beans.

This. There's something about bean-to-cup's aroma that really scratches my caffeine itch. I've got a delonghi at home that I got my wife as a valentine's gift last year, and even plain old woolies beans are delicious in it.

she gets spoiled MORE than enough

I dunno, man, she does have to put up with you.. :p

That is the correct use of an arduino, IMO.
