Huge steam problem

Sup guys

I had a lan at one of my friends house.... And copied the TF2 files for him as he has a capped account. But we didn't end up playing because of a power outage. Today I switched my pc on and opened steam and BAM all my steam games are gone :( I went to the steam folder and saw the folders for my games...... But they didn't show up at my library :cry: :mad:

You could try unin-reinstalling Steam.
Maybe something became corrupt in the process and requires an unin-reinstallation.

Also try deleting clientregistry.blob (while Steam is closed), then start Steam up again.

Go to settings in steam and look under download and cloud. At the bottom there is Steam Library folders.

Nooo, don't uninstall steam. That will uninstall all you games in the steam folder also.

Try the clientregistry.blob first.

Yeah good thing I didn't :) I have a backup of all the games on 1tb external hard-drives so it wouldn't matter much.

Btw tried the clientregistry.blob thing waiting for steam to update. I'm going to go sleep now will reply tomorrow morning

Okay so my games are back... Clienregistery,blob delete worked for me.... I'll add some rep for you guys :)
