I don't know yet...only picking my Phenom up on saturday..will write a little review for it once its up and running..Waiting for some other parts aswell so my rig is still not complete.

She's gonna be a monster when she's done.

I think we run the same ram Corsair xms2 2x 2gig drr2 800
Is it possible for me to go buy another set of corsair xms2 2x 2gig modules and put them in with my current ones? Ive heard of people getting some weird issues...

I think if you get the same models, then it shouldn't be a problem. I was wondering the same thing. Where do you stay?
 
Im based in the east rand but I travel to rosebank randburg and midrand about 4 times a week..why do you ask?

Well, if you lived close by, we could add my ram in your pc or visa versa and see what happens. I also read that it is "hit and miss" with these ram.
 
Yeah that's the thing..I bought the ram from big kriss on prophecy brand new but he only had the 1 set. Wonder how much a set of the corsair xms2 2x 2gig ddr2 800 would sell for? How much did you pay if I may ask?

Bought mine last year may(I think) also from PH and they were R1600, but I don't like running 4x Xgigs of ram in any of my pcs, so if I want to go to 8 gigs, I will buy new ram and pass these to my other pc.
 
Oh ok..Im sure the price has come down by now.
I can't afford to spend to much on ram at the moment..My rig is already damn expenssive as it is and its not even done yet.
 
The sad part is my rig isn't even finished and im already looking at the Am3 cpu's..lol!!
It never ends I swear!!
