I Need Your Advice!!

No you are trolling a thread where someone is asking questions about buying an xbox, not a thread where someone is asking if they should buy an xbox or a playstation. If you want to get in on the now long dead console war go HERE - there are a 1103 post on the subject, the last of which was made almost a year ago, you know why? Because nobody give a shit about the PS3 vs Xbox debate anymore.

Fine if it makes you feel better, “you've made a great choice in getting an xbox 360, I suggest the 250GB” is everybody happy now

Which games do you think are good

I'm just saying that aside from the handful of exclusives, it doesn't really matter if you're playing on xbox or ps3, they come out on both. The console vs pc debate is another thing altogether, but still you'll get mostly the same games.

Games that I've played recently that I consider good, and you can get on both consoles: Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Dead Space 1 and 2, Bioshock 1 and 2, Vanquish, etc. Come to think of it, I played about half of those on XBox and half on PS3, and a few on PC.

I've even mixed platforms in the same series. Eg:
AC1 - PC, AC:BH - XBox
Bioshock 1 - PC, Bioshock 2 - PS3
Dead Space 1 - XBox, Dead Space 2 - PS3

I see your point bt I can't afford most of it and the rest I can't find in store

Ok, but your point was that you prefer the PS3 over XBox, and PS3 games cost exactly the same as XBox games. And as it happens, I picked up AC:BH new on XBox for R99. I also got Far Cry 2 for under R150 second hand a while ago, it's probably cheaper by now. If you're worried about the price of games though, it would be better for you to play on PC.

True. I remember some time back someone asked me why I have a PS3 instead of XBOX (which I also once owned), 'cos "PS3 games are waaaaaaay more expensive."

I was like :wtf:

For consoles games on both PS3 and X360 cost pretty much the same, or, at least at release date and the months following. Newly released titles go for between R400 - R700, but same price, regardless of console. It's not like a new release will go for R600 on PS3 but R400 on X360 at release date.

Only a year or more down the line will a title's price on the two consoles POSSIBLY differ, as sales affect the eventual drop in price.

If you go for the slim 250GB - Try get the matt version. I have the glossy slim and it's full of small scratches even though I cover it with a soft cloth when I'm not using it.

yip, i can vouch for that, the glossy has been discontinued but i still see shops selling the old stock.
