I pledged... (✯) Citizen. Enlist now!

Enjoy, don't forget about the 14% tax on digital goods as well.

I'm really looking forward to the dogfighting module, but I will be quite surprised if it's available within 2 weeks. Do you guys have any reference for this?

Indeed. Fortunately, the timing of legislation promulgation <> the timing of legislation enforcement :)

Nope its not set in stone.

Well I would have at least liked to see what space looks like, since that's what the game is supposed to be about. Stars and stuff, you know? I didn't back the game to get a first person solitary confinement simulator :p

This is the only reason I've held back on backing. However to all those enlisted already - is there a group that I can join if I do enlist, a large'ish group?

Nope its not set in stone.

We hope!

yeah maybe I should just invest in the LN. no idea what these things will cost in game and how much I'll be earning.

I backed the MR back in the day, and then upgrade to the LN. I held the LN for many months and then finally upgraded to the origin 300i just to have a unique ship and a slightly better start. I fully intend playing the alpha and beta with several of my friends as soon as they are available.

Yeah the March/April date for dogfighting module makes more sense.

About buying ships:

Once the game is released, ships can only be bought with in-game credits. While you will be able to buy credits with money, there is both a cap on the amount per day, and the maximum amount you can have in your account at any one time. This should remove the DLC-ness of the ships by a step or two, I think.

No pressure lol. When does the pledging time end? Will throw some cash at it next month if it's still on.

Just pledged with a few friends.

Just found this site below and pondered how many SA members in total we have...

The site doesn`t seem to be that popular but it makes sense to me to pull
together: sa citizen roster because of: sa server

Just not sure how dodgy it is logging results

We'll know closer to the time. If the timer on that site is correct we should see the dogfighting module in 36 days, and we can start testing the game out :)

Quick question, is this open space PVP or is the PVP limited to PVP arenas?

Don't quote me on this, but there are numerous levels. I think it is generally open space PVP however it will depend on the risk level of the sector where you are in. If you attack somebody in a well policed sector it will be suicide, but if you attack somebody in a un-policed sector it's every man for himself.

If that is the case then I am really pissed, the game sold itself to me as a PVE game. Now it sounds like Eve with prettier graphics.

Damn it.
