I pledged... (✯) Citizen. Enlist now!

I NEED MOAR MONEY.

*sigh*... I almost wish they didn't tease the hanger. The excitement is suffocating :p

I was actually disappointed with this whole 3.5 gig download only being able to hop in and out

...because I had my joystick in and everything :(

If understand game development, download cryengine dev. Pulled the ships I dont own into a jungle.still need to reconfigure the scripts so I can fly but that might take long.

Once they get to $20 million they add in first person combat.

Star Citizen just crowd-sourced a million bucks in about a week, and they’re up over $18m now, which unlocks “exclusive” starting star systems for backers. What does this money pile mean for this colossally ambitious beast of a game as a whole? Well, Chairman Roberts explains that it means it’s going to be even more ambitious: “First person combat on select lawless planets. Don’t just battle on space stations and platforms… take the fight to the ground!”

Yes, having $20m means they’re going to throw in an FPS segment for free. Not sure that’s really the best idea, since FPS isn’t really their focus, but it’s interesting to see them go in this direction. Man, this game’s genesis is going to be one to follow, isn’t it? Time to stock up on popcorn, one way or another.

By now of you didn't receive your card or shirt you should have informed support about it. Resending of shirts is next week and cards sometime after or with that.

I'm curious how much have you spent so far in SC?

My current tally is $205 and climbing :D

Crazy, I think my total spend atm is $25 or $30. I'm hesitant to put any more money into it until I have a better idea of how the in game currency works against money. Too much money is also PTW and I don't like that.

Yeah I have to agree here, I'm not planing on spending any more money on this game (aside from peripherals MAYBE).

If you HAVE to pay real money to get the really cool ships, etc. then I'm not interested in the game anymore.

Not really if add up the things I have

1x scout LTI
1x digital bounty hunter LTI
1x shirt
1x monthly sub @ 10 usd

So that is 2x game, shirt and monthly sub to help fund. I'm really just curious how much some have put in here, its a crowd funding curiosity :D

No you don't, but you can buy some items before start. How else do you think they are going to get to that 20-25 mill mark to fully fund it?

What do you get for the monthly sub?

How much do you pay for games normally? I pay R200-R300.

That really depends on the platform I guess, I mean I could say I paid $1 for something on my iphone or $5 for a farcary 3 eu key via kinguin.

Not really sure how this relates

TBH I'm only subbed to help along with the PR and wingman's hanger and not for the "stuff". I'm writing this ±R100 p/m off with my other charities I donate to on a monthly basis.

However I'm on this one:

Centurion Pass

If you’re interested in going above and beyond to support Star Citizen’s development, there’s no better way than a development subscription! Subscribers get a variety of unique addons available nowhere else, which are created using the money paid into subscription fees. Products like Jump Point and Wingman’s Hangar could not happen without our generous subscribers!

LOL. Totally, but you still need to pay the petrol for the car to get there first and looking at this car I would say that Robert has some pretty decent ideas and people compared to other projects or development houses and their publishers.

So I really don't feel bad about giving them the odd 200 usd so far, or perhaps I should have given it to EA? I mean we really could do with a Baldurs Gate FPS.

However... I'm not so sure about GrimDawn and Torment, I'm wonder how those are going to pan out to say the least.

It relates, because I don't normally pay R2000 for a game. I think you probably don't either.

Hey look, it's your money, do with it as you please :) I'm happy with my $25-30 donation and I might increase it later if I feel like it. I don't really think a kickstarter game that has collected 18 million USD can qualify as charity though :) There are other kickstarters out there who only made $300,000.

I don't either but after 3 years of wow it comes down to (thumb sucks) ±R5120 for the game :D

There are other KSes, but why don't you give them more :p

Anyone else though about what they are going to do when the game start.
Trying to find the thread that have all the suggestions but can't find it.

Must say the female characters are looking awesome.
