Avantar maybe this will help: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Controllers/F710-weak-vibration-in-Xinput-mode/td-p/948856
Only really relates to Windows 10 as I am on that. So I guess you shouldn't worry about it too much then.
If it's faint... then maybe the internet can help out with finding a solution.
Thank you axon1988 - appreciate the effort.
Yeah one day I'll do this. Thanks, I'm totally going to try it.

Another rather handy thing I have found is CO Contact Cleaner

We have plenty cnc machines at work and they use oil to cool the cutter and material.
The oil vaporises and of course pc cases being the dirt traps that they are the oil ends up settling on (dripping off) the motherboard, heatsinks and fans.
The oil along with the usual dirt in a pc become a lovely greasy gunk.
That stuff is basically like hosing your motherboard down, works a charm just don't use it on screens or hard drives![]()
Oh that's pretty cool. My thing lately is to dip everything in cleaning alcohol. Makes it smell like a hospital, but it works. Cleans off all the gunk. But perhaps this could be easier.
The other thing I do is usually just use my air compressor on the heatsink to get rid of the gunk between fins.
Nothing wrong with strong ethanol or iso alcohol, may be a bit pricey though.
Also use air compressor (with air drier) for quick cleans or when it's just dust but when you have gunk you need to wash that thing.
I occasionally in a pinch also just use a paintbrush if the aircompressor won't work.
I like the idea of a cube case. Different from your typical, standard vertical tower.
I had a look at the V21 a while back when upgrading my case but wasnt happy with the airflow and somewhat tight space to work with. So I went with the Cooler Master HAF XB Evo. One of the best purchases i made last year.
It's really nice. So far it's been worth every penny. There's better airflow, the motherboard lies flat so the CPU cooler and GPU are not hanging off the motherboard at all. There's enough space for a bajillion fans and other cooling options. It's a damn sweet case.
A "floor-mounted" motherboard makes a lot more sense; sounds safer. Gravity does not have a bad an effect on the components (although fastened) dangling in the case.
If I can afford it one day, buying a cube case actually sounds like a preferable way of doing things. One should also have less issues with incorrect seating.

Have to say, I'm not a fan of the bigger graphics cards lately making their rounds in my case, simply because of that sag. I've recently incorporated lego into my buiilds, to prop the card up
Actually pretty cool. But yea, agreed, a flat motherboard would get rid of that whole issue entirely....
When I have my shop and have saved up some money, I will give my current tower to my shop as the main work station and buy (something like) this:

As the case for my personal rig. Initially, my shop will use my Cooler Master Elite [something] as its case.
Yeah that one is nice and on rebeltech it's even cheaper. Just remember that it is a mini-itx case. So won't fit the normal hardware.
My next upgrade will be moving to mini-itx form factor as well. I want a smaller footprint overall.
Everything in my case is small:
Motherboard (Mini ATX)
GPU - 750 Ti (may be a dual fan, but it's still small)
My case is actually big compared to the components it's housing.
