welcome to the "I would be a more hard-core gamer BUT" thread where you simply state what is stopping you from playing games more often than you currently do.

Some examples include
- Daily Chores
- Work Hours
- Study Time
- lack of games, etc

Looking for the really creative issues that hamper us from doing stuff we like. Where we can relate to fellow gamers who are going thru the same issues.
These reasons may also keep changing (eg. Cricket World cUp is on and your house only has one tv, etc...) so please update and discuss as u see fit.....:p

Let me start

I would be a more hard-core gamer BUT
i finish work at 5 and am doing part time studies on the side.

You've got to wake up, get ready, do the three "s", drive wife to work, then sit in further traffic to get to your offices, after that repeat in reverse, while the wife is moaning that she is too tired to work cause she's had to type all day, would I please cook and do the dishes while she relaxes. As apparently working and driving aren't tiring enough, by the time that is all done, get to the couch and can't find the Xbox controller, to lazy to look for it. Honest...

We have become a generation of "keyboard gamers" we discuss the games more than what we actually play them........

Get home help the wife
Put juniour to bed ( I fall asleep on the bed before my kid ) LOL

weekends I have a very active social life so every friday I always promise to "game" this weekend but by the time I get home from work I have parties booked for Friday and Saturday then you still have kiddie parties to attend also

I would be more of a hardcore gamer but, Time doesn't want to slowdown for me when I game, so I don't get enough time to play :(

I would be a more hard-core gamer BUT

I'm too lazy... I'd rather 'muf' in front of the TV and watch 7de Laan that to turn on the PC or PS3 and play a game...

Join the army they said ..
see the world they said ..

Im finding inspiration in Dilbert cartoons that reflect my life in so many ways ..

My PC can't handle new games that well and thus can't keep up with me,i also have a lack of hardcore games.my father is opening a new business soon so i'll have to wait till then to start working so money for new games are also a problem.downloading pirated games is a good option at the moment but downloading takes too long and i finish them so fast, there is also no multiplayer in pirated games so thats also a problem.

i'm basically sticking to listening to music, watching anime and working on 3d projects in my free time.

I'm a hardcore gamer :D

I game from 10PM till 1 AM most nights. 5 hours sleep is more than enough for me to feel awesome everyday ;)

No it's not!
No DX11 support, no Eyefinity resolution support, low shader version, not enough memory, and no brightness/gamma sliders.

Seriously, they could've done a much better job on outside.

Its not always about what it looks like!
I mean, the campaign has more than enough length to it - although it's better suited to co-op.
I just wish they would fix the bugs and I HATE the currency system.
I'm about halfway into it now and there have been some good moments so far, just sucks that there is no save option.
