Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition to release on 30 October

This one kinda came out of nowhere. I heard it announced a few months ago and here it is. Icewind Dale 1 and 2 are the only two Infinity engine games I haven't really played yet. Apparently they're a lot more combat heavy than PS:T and Baldur's Gate and a bit sparse on the story and choice and consequence.

Still, they don't make them like they used to so it's probably worth checking out.

Yeah icewind dale is much more combat heavy and much more linear. Still a damn fine game though.

That's probably for the best, seeing as both the EEs of BG1 and 2 had lots of bugs at release.
