If One Console Exclusive Could Be Ported...

'Timed console-exclusives' are thing, so it's really just bragging rights to the consoles for that period of time, but what if you could have just one console-exclusive ported to PC - what would it be and why?

Honorable mentions are allowed, but only one "chosen port" is allowed. :)

I've had to think hard about this:

The Uncharted series.

Imagine playing it at a solid 60FPS at 1080p using a mouse and keyboard. I think that'd be an awesome experience.
I generally prefer to play shooters (regardless of aim-assistance) on PC.

Honorable mention(s):

The Killzone series - FPSs are meant for #PCRace ;)
Red Dead Redemption

While I agree Uncharted would be a good choice for a port, I don't kb/mouse would be the way to play it. Sure, it would work fine, but IMO the game plays way better with a controller than it would with kb/mouse. There is a lot of platforming in UC and I generally find that third person games play better with a controller.

If I could choose one console game that I want to be ported it would probably be The Last of Us. Everybody needs to play that game.

Honorable mentions: Red Dead Redemption, Demon's Souls and Bloodborne.

I can't think of anything. Honestly, the games that are "exclusive" to console, be it timed or permanently, are exclusives for a reason. I can't imagine all the exclusives I've played on console being better on #PCRace - I can't imagine playing Uncharted, Forza or even Destiny on PC. If you really wanted to play the game you would have found a way to play it, if you don't like it, get a [-]fucking[/] console!

I agree with Wlad that everyone should be able to play TLoU, but I don't think it deserves a port. Instead I loaned out my PS3 and the game so that my friends/family could experience it. The exclusives aren't there as bragging rights, they're exclusive because the developer or publisher is heavily invested in that console and probably received a metric ton of backing from the respective partner. Instead of thinking of it as bragging, consider the possibility that it could be a reward for buying said platform.

No question in my mind: Forza and Forza Horizon games. They don't have to do all of them, just the latest ones :)

There are some Playstation exclusives that I'd love to play. Like Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. I would definitely get them if they were ported to the PC.

Tough question but I still really want to play Shadow of the Colossus so my vote would be for the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD remake to be ported to PC

Ah yes, I've never played Shadow of the Colossus! That's definitely another exclusive that I'd like to play.

8sh (any anyone else that though I was a douche with that comment)
I have an apology to make. When I saw and read this post I commented with a very aggressive response and not exactly in a neutral manner and didn't take all the equations into consideration. I mistook this thread as one of those "PC Master Race" threads and honestly thought you should get off your high horse and get a console if you wanted to play these titles. Instead of thinking it through I responded advesely and attacked it.

For this I am sorry and humbly apologize. I have been under a lot of pressure of late with work and personal life, this should not have affected the forums.

In spite of how you think your reaction was, I actually found truth to the post. Games exclusively on console, are on console for a reason. I just wondered if anyone had the same idea as me; to see something like this implemented.

Own both a console and PC (and love them both) so I speak from an unbiased point of view/opinion. The fact that you apologised is appreciated but not necessary. You were expressing an opinion, something we're all entitled. Your post did not breed hate or unfair opinion, IMO.

We all get frustrated with work, personal and social lives, so it's completely understandable. I vent often as well.

:)
