If You Could Remake an Older Game

I think Quake 2 could be quite interesting as a remake. Quake 4 felt a little bit too much like Doom 3.

Quake 1. I know there are countless game engine mods out there but its a game that I would love to see done on a good game engine like id tech 5 or Unreal Engine 3. Recreating every from level architecture, char models, lighting...
 
I'm lucky, all the games I wanted a remake for are currently in the works :p.

Rome: Total War - Total War: Rome II
Final Fantasy X - Final Fantasy X HD

So I'm happy :D. I just hope FFX HD comes out sooner rather than later :(.
