** IMPORTANT **
During the Beta --
PreRound is enabled, this requires 8 players for the round to start
While Players who have joined the server will be able to spawn, they WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE.
Movement will only be enabled once the PreRound switch is deactivated by the presence of the required number of players

** Client Bugs **
Avira AV MAY give a false positive on BF3.exe (Trojan)

Weapon Dissapears Randomly (Limited to ATi Cards so far)

Game Session Expired Issue
  • There are a few issues that may cause this:
  • Incorrect Time/Date of OS
  • OS Set to not accept Cookies (Internet Settings)
  • If neither of those two things help;
  • Here is a work around:
  • 1. Log out of Origin
  • 2. Create a new account with Origin and login.
  • 3. Redeem Product Code with a new working key.
  • 4. Origin already sees you have the BF3 Beta files so start BF3 Beta and go play

Disconnections

  • Set BF3 to run as admin
  • Set Browser that you run Battlelog from to run as admin
  • Disable Firewall
  • Uninstall/turn off Anti-virus and malware protection stuff
  • Mess with the Host file in system32/drivers/etc
  • Disable UPnP on your router
  • Uninstall & Reinstall BF3, and ensure installation files are set to be kept
  • Install BF3 to its default directory
  • Disable the Origin Overlay

Not Being Able to Bind Keys (No Known Fix)
** UPDATE **
Mouse Binding - Using Programmable Mouse and Driver Software from Manufacturer Bind the Required Mouse Keys to Echo Keyboard Commands
(ie Bind Left Shoulder Button to Keyboard Command 'F')
This allows for all buttons to be used on the mouse instead of Scroll/RMB/LMB

Weapon Models and Crosshairs Invisible (No Known Fix)

** Server Bugs **
Server Crash when running - Investigating with DICE (Not Isolated Event)
Server Loses Connection to the Blaze Backend - Investigating with DICE (Not Isolated Event)

Hey Xero where can we direct our questions regarding BETA client DL time etc? word is the client can only be downloaded at 14h00 tommorrow, but perhaps you know more?
 
Im currently waiting on Confrimation for the Downlaod Timeframes

thanks man...we also know about the beta key issue obviously

okes are quite anxious now :)

PS if they don't get the keys i think they may eat Storm ALIVE

DICE have promised us that we will get the key replacements during the day today
 
It may be off the local one, I'm getting great speeds, around 30 Minutes for 25%

Hmm, ok, so the 1pm - 3pm window has come and gone... Did anyone get hold of their Closed Beta keys yet? Just want to get an idea if people in SA are starting to get their keys.
