Blaze dude, I know what you mean about the games not starting. The first time I joined a lobby I was like wtf is going on. But when there's enough players, eventually it starts. Some of them are a bit more responsive though. Might even be all the damn international guys causing server lag? Dunno..

Ja bru, but the cloaking is balanced though. You can only cloak for a very short time, and if you move, even less so. And if someone shoots you directly from their cloak, without uncloaking first (which takes like 1 - 2 seconds) they lose all their energy and they can't Maximum Armour you :p. Which makes them pretty easy to kill. Plus I love it when people cloak and you sneak up behind them with a stealth kill :D Haha, I can't see why you don't like it plassie :( I think the full game is going to be way better though, there will be more weapons and stuff as well and more maps. Don't let the small frame of the demo put you off just yet.
 
I'll give it a bash tonight and see what's going on. The only thing that might bother me is the small player cap. That's why I'm hoping Homefront will be good as a MP game. 32 players maps would be awesome.
 
Crysis 2 for my "CS1.6 feel" Battlefield 3 for mayhem!

I really want to get the retail version now so I can change my FoV and put off motion blur. I hate motion blur. Guns feel pretty good but damn when you scope down does that thing look huge or what?
 
Downloaded the demo, tried the whole morning to log in, finally manage to log in only to receive the finger when I try to join a local server(Correction, I could join one of the WAGE servers, but I was alone and people frown when you play with yourself). Could join servers in Amsterdam for some reason, with very little lag.

It seems they did something right, the game looks nice and runs smooth, especially if you remember the original Crysis. Gameplay is smooth, seems like a cross between the original Crysis and COD, if you have to make a comparison, I think they took the best of the two and combined it. It plays better than the original, that's for sure.

After the disappointing games last year, I hope Crysis 2 will be the start of a trend with game companies doing it right.
 
How has anyone been able to create a MyCrysis account? After numerous attempts it still gets stuck on "Account is being created..". :(

Yes, I did yesterday, but guess what? I couldn't log in with that. Just make a gamespy account in the game itself. That is the account that let's you log into the game. You don't even need an account on MyCrysis.

Ah awesome! Then I won't bother with a MyCrysis account. I'll create a Gamespy account as soon as I get home from work. Thanks for the tip. :D

I created an account in MyCrysis but I can't use it to login for some reason. I tried using my GameSpy account, but it gives me an error..... what does the error say? That my nick must be at least three characters long, must contain letters, numbers and other valid characters, must not start with a number or any of the following characters (@, #, : or +).

My nick is Scart69.........

Can someone please explain why my nick is invalid? I might have actually miss something and I am too stupid to notice. :wtf:

Just make a new gamespy account.
 
Even if you do manage to log in the servers aren't starting so we are all just sitting in the lobby twiddling our thumbs. :/

Maybe it has something to do with the maintenance. I read someone now that their servers are down for maintenance, don't know how long ago that was but hey..maybe that's why you can't make a new account or something.. I dunno. Sigh..

I hope it comes online soon..Don't want to sit here the whole night wasting my time :/
 
I gave up on the iGame servers, they all just sit and don't start. WAGE servers are working :/

It's quite fun, a massive improvement over the old Crysis MP, though I do miss massive maps and vehicles. Guess I'll have to wait for BF3.
