iGame Crysis 2 Demo Servers - LIVE

So they don't like Psycho's then...

Apparently they are quite strict about who they allow to join. :D
Nah, I already used PsychoPitbull when I registered on the mycrysis website, it just doesn't accept it when I try to log into the game, but it works on the website forums.

Persistent little fscker.

You're supposed to be the persistent one! :D

I also made an account on Mycrisis, SkyRamboZA, and it didn't want to log in with that, so I made a gamespy account, SkyRamboZA, exactly the same and same e-mail, and it accepted it.

Theres a glitch in the login for the Demo that doesn't Like caps in the username ..thats all

I've got 4 caps in my nick :D

We had a good few rounds yesterday .....and now tell me where the Knife is

I go away for a week and I miss all of this, LUCKY ME !
ok, some info for everyone

There are two major bugs that players experience currently, I am in contact with the Crytek and Crysis 2 guys and we are awaiting word on patches

1) Servers allow players into lobby but then do not start - This is caused by a memory leak in the server itself, we need to manually restart these servers at this stage to get them running

2) Server Browser - Ping sometimes shows, sometimes not, likewise at times even if you are given 0 ping you can connect
This is being fixed, although we manually set a few things and tweaked our routing while we are waiting on the patch

Then, as you all have noticed by now, the Int presence on the servers may cause some disruption, I am trying to find a way to limit ping to the servers to restrict high latency users from connecting, will keep everyone updated on progress
Problem was compacted by the fact that there were only 1800 live servers that went online at the scheduled time for the demo, so everyone is currently joining anywhere they can find a spot - this means that the dolts from distant shores who do not understand the word latecy will just hit a server with an empty slot and sit there warping in place at 500ms Ping to the server, sigh, I know ...........

Bru, if you want to knife someone or snap his neck you have to be behind them, cloaked as well. You have to be cloaked to perform a stealth kill :D

@Xerowing: Thanks for the update!

I made my account from within the Crysis 2 Menu. TheRif. Two CAPS. :D

Also when I searched for your name it shows up as skyramboza anyway. :s

@Xerowing: Whatever you did with the routing was awesome. My pings were between 29 and 36 on a 384k line.

And yes all the iGame ping readings in the server browser read as 0 the first time I searched. Once I restarted the game because of a crash they were all between 100 - 120 ping.

Yeah they are still reporting WAAAAAY too high, but that will be rectified in an upcoming patch I'm told

but all in all its freaking awesome ,so much fun ........

Xerowing by the way thank you , and your team we really do appreciate it

Is there a way to wait in a lobby, and get a notification when there are enough players? I cant stare at a menu screen all day...
