Is a troll really bugging you? Has his/her idiot behaviour just taken things too far?

You can put the person on Ignore but then you still see his/her name everywhere and you see that there are posts by that person. Even quotes showing the actual posts by that idiot!

So Jan showed me the way.

Get this script:

Then install it it using
Tampermonkey for Chrome
Greasemonkey for Firefox

I will post some details on how to install it over the weekend.

It's like the person doesn't exist and you can smile knowing that you don't have to see the troll's name again. :D

Hehe I won't ever block you... well hopefully not! :D

So far it's working great. I will still have to install it at home on Firefox but there's this great big relief that washed over me when I saw it working.
 
aka - how to make threads confusing.

Trolls do get people to react, so removing them leaves a bunch of posts raging about something you can't see.

I have to agree. I've never been driven so far as to completely put someone on an ignore list. I don't get worked up by other people's posts as much and can easily just ignore them and move on.

I've got a good idea who Solitude wants to ignore and I respect his right to ignore that person, but in the end it works best just to ignore the troll and not feed him/her/it.

I've never had to put someone on ignore before. I'm not someone to become annoyed all that easily. I don't know why this person irritates me so much. I had to do this to lower my blood pressure. And who knows, maybe one day someone will need this information again.

I think you've missed a step or did something wrong. Your posts are upside down. How does it look when you view it from your side?
