Ok people I am meeting my Fiance's father for the first time today(he lives in Germany) and i would be lying if i said i wasn't nervous. Wish me luck.:eek:
 
Hahaha, not a chance if he's German. I've been to Austria a few times, and if I know anything about that region you have to do everything perfectly, and people are pretty damn blunt there.

G'luck Fenix! Ze gehmans are actually an awesome bunch. I lived there for a year. One thing you must keep in mind is not to try and bullshit him. Don't pretend to know stuff about their country and don't try and be funny.

Let him see that you're making his little girl happy - and he'll be cool with it.


(It never hurts to have an exit strategy in case things go south :p )

LOL. Thanx for the support guys.I should have explained a little more but i was pressed for time. He's not actually german, he just lives there, he's British. I am acutally 1/4 german so ja. Went ok, seems like a nice guy. Sure i'll get the down-low from my Fiance tomorrow. Just glad its over, since he's pretty rich i felt a little outa place. Thanx again for all the support.

Or your father-in-law told your fiance that if she married that 1/4 nazi, goose stepping, pig-latin talking bloke, then she will be cut from the inheritence. She is now spending the time weighing up her options...
