I'm Paying It Forward. Who Wants My Wheel?

As you may know, my name was drawn as the winner in the recent activity comp for the Thrustmaster Ferrari Wireless GT Cockpit.

After a bit of thought I've decided that I'm going to keep using the Logitech wheel I have - it's only a few months old after all - and (with [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION]'s approval) to pass the Thrustmaster prize on to someone who really wants and needs a wheel. If you are a PC or PS3 user who enjoys racing/driving sims and games here's a chance at a second bite of the prize. But please, only reply if you genuinely will use the wheel - I'd really like it to go to someone who does need it.

Simply reply to this thread before 12 noon next Wednesday (12 August) telling me what your favourite driving game is (or what it would be if you had a wheel!) and I'll add your name into a random draw.

Couple of conditions:
  • As per the original comp, MyGaming can only deliver the prize to major centers - Joburg, Durban, Cape Town. If you're outside of those, make sure you have a handy family member or friend that it can be shipped to on your behalf.
  • You must be an active member of the MyGaming community with at least 3 months on your Join Date and at least 20 posts on your profile.
  • You must be prepared to take a picture of yourself with the prize and publicly declare your eternal love for all things Ferrari!
:D Okay, I won't hold you to that last one. In the true spirit of Paying It Forward, I'll leave it up to the recipient to decide whether and how they'd like to celebrate!

Dude, that's really awesome of you, truly!!! I would love to enter and win this wheel, but pretty much all my racing games are on Xbox One, and I believe the wheel is not compatible with the Xbox One. If it is though, I'll enter the lucky draw!!!
 
My current wheel is old and dated, but it get's the job done. If at all possible the person does not reply or participate in this, I would put her name up for nomination. As a true racing fan as she is, I nominate [MENTION=2530]Wyvern[/MENTION]
 
Rare but a treat to see this kind of behaviour. Absolutely commendable! ;)

I will obviously sit this one out as I have no need for a wheel.

I own all the F1 Codemaster games on pc, and I really, really, really need the wheel to actually kick some ass. My favourite one is still the F1 2011 version (aka cars sounded beautiful and still gives me goosebumps to hear those engines).

Dude I will even burn my Mclaren flag for this wheel! Besides, Kimi and Vettel are my favourite drivers so its easy to support Ferrari!

wait until you hear the Formula cars in Project Cars... crank up hifi speakers and be prepared to have your mind blown (and your ear drums) :p

Most authentic sounding formula cars I've heard in any game.

lol I have played project cars at Hammer's place :P I failed epically but I loved it!

Would have LOVED to have this, but I think practically, I likely wouldnt have anywhere to put it on my desk. unless its easily "disassembled" so you can swap between it and mouse/kb...mmm

I think purely based on how awesome [MENTION=2530]Wyvern[/MENTION] is and how much she does for our little community she should get the wheel ;)

Wyvern is the ultimate racing fan! Think she races in real life too? or her dad? can't remember but give her the wheel NEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!

Also Gregredd, you are champion and have been added to my list of people to affectionately bearhug. Don't be awkward, just go with it:D
