the real battle is preventing them from doing harm without killing them.
That in essence is why Smallville annoyed the smelly brown crap out of me.
Bad guy goes crazy, kills some ppl
Superman swoops in, stops bad guy and puts him in mental asylum / prison.
Said bad guys escapes, does all bad guy things and kills more ppl.
Again superman swoops in, perhaps this time bad guy is better prepared, almost kills Superman, but fails and returns to step two.

KILL THE FUCKER AND SAVE INNOCENT LIVES!
Drove me insane, wanted to shove green stuff down sups throat myself!
But before I derail the thread completely, perhaps start a threat about this.
I know, like Batman, Superman has this inner struggle to not kill and become like the bad guys he fights and I can respect that, but in doing that, because of human failing those bad man I bound to escape and hurt innocents more, which are their main aim to stop. I know I'm probably viewing comic book characters through reality goggles and its not meant to be, but still, they are placed in a real like ours world. So its hard not to draw lines between them. Perhaps its just the days we live in, perhaps its just the inner 8 year old inside me yearning to see the good guys win more often and for bad guys to turn into a fine pink mist.
I guess, that's why I like The Watchmen so much, and why Rorschach is one of my all time favorite characters ever.
I wonder if your favorite comic book hero says something about you.... :wtf:
Also, I have never followed the super heroes comic canon, so I know I might be missing something, like Batman's iron suit, apparently he had worn that before.
Anyway, sorry about derail, had a mental fart there....
