This isn't a DA advertisement - I'll post those if you want, but they recently said that thousands of scholars flock to the western cape to get a 'proper' education because the ANC government is failing the education system.
I went to high school in East London and feel I had a great education and finished my degree at UFS so I don't think all this DA media hype is all it's cracked up to be.
And before you hate I don't vote - never have never will, why must I contribute to corrupt officials?

So you don't vote but you do have a bone to pick with the people that are trying to help make life better ?
Have a look at the schools in the North and then say you still don't agree that there is a problem. Obviously they will say that the Western Cape is the place to be since it is the only part in the country that they have a say in things.

I don't wish to make a difference or pretend that my non-vote is significant, I have a positive outlook on South Africa and I don't get caught up with this whole ANC is the devil and the DA is the light and what not.
The only time I'll vote is if it has a direct consequence on society - e.g. if war breaks out in the middle east and it looks like WWIII is imminent and our government asks the public to decide if we should send soldiers off or if we must make forced enlistment again then I'll vote

The DA will have you believe the ANC is doing nothing but pocketing money, I work in the construction industry and we are currently building a new hospital in Harrismith, refurbishing a hospital in Bloem and another company is building a new hospital in Trompsburg - I read that they (ANC government) is currently busy with 12 hospital projects - so not all gloom and doom.
And don't pretend corruption is anything new - the NP politicians in the Apartheid era also pocketed a lot of cash - it was never reported in the newspapers as much as it is now.
Look it is your right to vote and please do if you feel it will help, I choose not to vote. My reasons for not voting might not be valid in your opinion, but I may not agree with who you are voting for.
