Gamers with sweaty palms seems to be a big market.

Hehe, It'sa bigger market than you think, and I for one would love something like this on my roccat mouse. I am a sufferer of sweaty palms. As is a big percentage of Some of my fellow COD League players. Infact I have cost my team a match, a very important one at that by having to constantly wipe my palms (and getting killed while doing so)

MANY comp gamers will go for this.

The the brake over heated and the went up in flames and well started to burn down the turbine.

There are other possibilities as well, such as the grid load dropping, which suddenly allows the turbine to freewheel past design speeds, which causes the generator to get all hot and bothered. Or the pitching system failing and letting the blades lock in the from position and/or fail to feather. Or the gearbox failing, which causes a lot more friction, and likely some quite warm cogs flying through the hub. Or, like you said, the brake over heating.. :D

It's a wonder any of these things stay upright.
