Took this one yesterday @ the Aliwal Shoal. The diver pretty much froze in place while being inspected.

A Reef Shark? I am sure they are quite harmless to humans.

Ragged Tooth Shark - and yeah, I dive with them all the time. I wouldn't say harmless, but they are extremely docile unless provoked. I've dived with oceanic blacktips as well which are on that list and they didn't misbehave either.

Here's another pic of him:

this is NSFW

In other news: This next specimen is called a half-jap, apparently the most superior female on earth according to looks and temperament:

Harmless, not by a long shot
Would it attack you, you would have to have some seriously bad karma, however I still wouldn't play with one.

Personally I believe sharks aren't dangerous and if I'm diving there is zero chance I would be eaten by one, mainly because I don't look like a fish and I have a steel cylinder on my back and all those bubbles would likely make him not interested in eating me.

Leptocephalus - The Transparent Fish!

Actually an eel,a newborn.

You can get them for freshwater and saltwater tanks (since a number of species go through the leptocephalus stage)

All eels are hard or even impossible to breed in a fishtank so most people will only see the leptocephalus stage in the wild.
