Improve Deux Ex: Human revolution visuals (Nvidia only)

The game needed this...Graphically its crap...Do not argue..its a fact xD
But only releasing for Nvidia is kinda lame. I'll uninstall when I get home ;)

I don't have much time for gaming as it is, and I don't have time for publishers that punt brands, releasing only for Nvidia is retarded. I was gonna mention something about the gfx in the Deus ex thread then I saw this..

Yes I know this was not developed/produced by the games creators xD Just before anyone goes on a rant. I'm just saying its retarded to only release a gfx update for Nvidia.

The funny thing is that you get a big ATI Gaming intro when you start the game.
 
this is no good , it makes the game stagger quite a lot , the visual sure does improve but , something screwy happens with the controls .
 
I see it only works with the DX9 version ofthe game. I use fraps to benchmark, and weirdly enough I get on average 20fps lower in DX9 than DX11. So this gives even a further drop in FPS coupled with me already losing fps in dx9 mode, means I wont try it for now.
I've used alot of ENB series mods on other games, and they are great. I will wait for a DX11 version

Afaik that is not possible, the ENBseries mods use an edited config the the DX9 dll and there is no version of this for DX11.
 
Tried it anyways and got horrible FPS. FPS dropped from an average of 95 in DX9 mode (1920x1200) to below 50 and introduced ALOT of stuttering for me :(

Will probably get better with newer releases!

The reason it drastically lowers you performance is because it's basically 'brute forcing' most of the effects, so instead of doing the effects on the engine level it gets the hardware to perform these tasks after the fact. Hence why you need separate version for nvidia and amd cards.
