So according to fox its the games and not their movies and tv shows which also contains sex scenes, which I might add is more explicit then most games...I wonder if fox would be running this news if they were in the gaming industry....

I believe people forget the Darwin theory; seriously, if you get TURNED ON by low-resolution, horrible and/or ridiculous looking women in video games you will successfully remove yourself from the gene pool (or in this case put yourself in prison where you at least can't breed) in whatever way possible.

Pointing the finger at video games makes no sense -- there are stupid people and they will always do stupid things, no matter what's shoved in front of them.

She states her story was taken out of context, but aside from being part of a few Mothers Against Video Games and Violence credentials she doesn't set the record straight at all. Lay off, fucking seriously. People enjoy what they enjoy. Video games aren't harmful, and let people live their damn lives, it has nothing to do with you.

I don't know about South Africa, but I'm guessing 99% of rapists haven't touched a video game in their lives before.

In fact, violent crime rates are the lowest they've been since 1973, homicide rate is the lowest since 1965 and property crime 1967. Most the peaks in crime happen when large drug outbursts happen (i.e. crack in 1993, where crime peaked and then began steady descent). Why on earth blame VIDEO GAMES instead of something like drugs, porn, the availability of weapons, economic crisis or any other reasonable explanation?
