In Soviet Russia, game developers troll you

He won me over with:
...but I do draw the line when a game hands you an axe, which you then proceed to use to hack wooden boards that are barring access to a door.

And then you get told the door is locked and you can’t access it, lol.

*Blink*

Something that has always made me wonder WTF they were thinking. So an axe can hack through wooden boards but not through a wooden door? Say WHAT?

It's sad that the only game (Alone in the Dark IV) I can think of that really challenged this was a huge flop :(

Unfortunately this shows up in gaming way too often. I can take down Dragons and Bandits from vast distances but no matter how I bash I cant break down the door or force the Lock of a chest. :< How I long for IceWind Dale/Baldur's Gate's "Force Lock Option" At least then when I get a "You are not strong enough to force the lock" message I know why I am denied the treasures lurking inside.

Yep Was a shame about Alone in The Dark. Such a Brave attempt, such a huge failure.

BF3, walls fly to pieces under the onslaught of bullets but hiding behind a sofa ensure safety. :wtf:
