Indie Gala - yet another indie bundle

I know these deals are really nice, but this is getting out of hand. Some of these games just released, and they're already on these specials. It really destroys the game's value, and I can't imagine the developers are making a ton off of it.

Seems it doesn't support anything except Paypal yet, so can't buy with my credit card. They want to implement standard credit card payments before the end of the week. The extra 2 games re only available for the first two days.

Really poorly planned bundle this one.

I dunno, Humble Indie Bundles are pretty cool and Indie Royale have a very unique concept. This one just looks like a rip-off of Humble Bundle, and I can't say that the games look particularly good. I gave it a try though - The paypal link took me to the Italian version of Paypal, and the email with your code takes forever to arrive, which is stupid because with humble bundle you get your link directly after payment, you don't even have to wait for an email. Adding all the games to steam now.

It looks to me like they put in the least amount of effort to get this up and running.

Yeah, it appears they rushed to get the indie bundle up before even getting their infrastructure correct. Lots of people received keys that were already used. Definitely not supporting this one.

So far the games don't look too bad. Here's my first impressions of the ones I played so far.

Your doodles are bugged looks OK, but I think Crayon Physics is a lot more fun if you want to draw something. I get the impression that it's more for children

Saira looks like an interesting little mix of puzzles and platforming, but I don't like the controls, I think it should have allowed you to use the mouse in the interface, other than that it's not too bad looking. I might try it some more.

inMomentum, I find a bit frustrating. The gameplay feels like a mix between Mirrors Edge and Trackmania, but not in a good way. Might give it another shot but my first impressions aren't that great.

Zombie Shooter is a lot more fun than I though it would be, and I'm glad I bought the bundle if only for this. It's an isometric shooter with lots of zombies, lots of bullets and lots of blood. You level up throughout the game and you can upgrade your weapons and you physical attributes. Definitely going to spend some time on this one. My only complaints is that the Zombies are sometimes obscured by the walls, and they have really bad AI, even for Zombies, so trying to lure them into view can be tricky. Will give Zombie Shooter 2 a try now. It's about 50 times bigger than Zombie Shooter 1 so it's taking a while to download.
