Indie Royale April Fool's Bundle

Includes:

Defense Grid: The Awakening

Headlining the bundle is Hidden Path Entertainment's Defense Grid: The Awakening, an acclaimed, futuristic tower-defense game for Windows on Steam, Desura, and DRM-free. GameSpot calls it a "quintessential example" of the genre and "compulsively playable" for newcomers and skilled players, as they attempt to fight off hoards of increasingly complex alien assaults. Defense Grid includes the free Borderlands expansion built into the main game, and we're also adding Steam keys for all four Resurgence map packs as a special bonus. (They're also bundled into Defense Grid Gold, via Desura key and DRM-free.)

Hack, Slash, Loot

Next up is Gooey Blob's accessible, retro turn-based dungeon crawler, Hack, Slash, Loot for Windows and Mac in a Steam debut, Windows and Linux on Desura, and Windows/Mac/Linux DRM-free. True to the Roguelike genre, dungeons randomly generate, providing a unique experience every time, as players uncover thousands of items to loot and monsters to hack and slash, accompanied by attractive retro pixel art.

Alien Zombie Megadeath

PomPom Games offers a pair of frantic shooter titles in the form of Alien Zombie Megadeath Steam, Desura, and DRM-free. In Alien Zombie Megadeath, players attack, dodge, and perform gloriously intense tasks while playing as 'ill-fated spacemen'.

Astro Tripper
In an update for to the award-winning Space Tripper from the talented UK studio, Astro Tripper affords players a tiny ship against hoards of other crafts and big bosses.

Explodemon
The final featured game is Curve Studios' incendiary 2D platformer, Explodemon for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. The title is an explosive homage to SNES-era platformers mixed with a modern physics-puzzle twist, and the PC version of the quirky PlayStation Network game offers all kinds of intense fun. And watch out for an Indie Royale-exclusive bonus related to this game a little later in the bundle.

The Indie Gala

The games are:

Trapped Dead
Greed:Black Border
Future Wars
Grotesque Tactics
Twin Sector

Bonus games [beat the average payment]

The Indie Royale Spring Bundle is now available.

The games this are:

Unstoppable Gorg
Get ready to experience a revolution in tower defense that will send you spinning. Unstoppable Gorg challenges you to defend the solar system from fearsome aliens by sending satellites into orbit. Unlike other tower defense games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your towers by rotating the orbits that surround planets, moons and space stations. Unstoppable Gorg is a lovingly crafted homage to vintage sci-fi films from the 1950s. Flying saucers, rubbery aliens, dodgy effects, it's got it all. The game's story scenes were shot on film using models, miniatures and live action actors and then edited together with genuine archive footage to create a classic sci-fi experience that is out of this world.

Depths of Peril
Depths of Peril is a single player action RPG (role playing game) with strong strategy elements. You play as a faction leader protecting the barbarian city, Jorvik, by destroying threatening monsters and completing quests. At the same time, you compete with rival factions to see who will rule the city. Barbarians choose their leaders by fighting to the death!

Tobe's Vertical Adventure
Tobe's Vertical Adventure is an indie, retro, platformer starring Tobe, the overly devoted gamer who's been forced on a treasure hunt by his materialistic crush, Nana. The big head duo will travel back and forth in the crumbling caves in search of treasures while rescuing fluffy animals, making you scream kawaii ne~ along the way. With 2 unique characters and a total of 4 islands and 16 levels to explore, Tobe's Vertical Adventure shall bring us back to a 16-bit yesterday.
Key features:
- Hours of classic platforming action through 4 islands of 16 levels
- Play as Tobe or Nana, each with a unique storyline and move sets
- Co-op Mode with a friend, as both Tobe and Nana
- 16 bit graphical retro goodness
- Experience the story through cutscenes and unlock the collectable soundtracks and artbook

Inferno Plus
Inferno+ is an atmospheric twin-stick action-RPG. Explore 40+ levels with your drone companions while upgrading your ship, collecting gold, discovering secrets, unlocking achievements, and destroying everything in sight. Then do it again at a higher difficulty level or with more upgrades and enemies in New Game+.

Slydris

Slydris is a unique and elegant puzzle game that feels fresh and familiar at the same time. Slide and drop blocks into rows across 3 modes while collecting achievements and comparing your scores to the best around the world.

Ballistic

Ballistic is a highly-polished intense twin-stick arcade shooter with infinite waves, 5 two-minute challenges, achievements, and online leaderboards. Use Ballistics mode to trade off speed for firepower, and choose and combine 9 different upgrades to customize your ship.

Found a really cool indie app, quite new:

Tiggit is an open source game launcher and installer.

Our mission: to help you find all the awesome indie games that exist 'hidden' around the internet.

Tiggit is a desktop app that installs and launches games with one click. It is sort of like an open source Steam clone, but much simpler and currently with only freeware games and demos.

Features:
Contains over 250 freeware games (and a few demos)
New games added continuously
No account or registration required

Looks good, I'll definitely try it out. Nice find!

Yeah, I've got Machinarium already. Keen to get Botinacular though, I think I'll wait to see what bonus games are added on, that might sway me to purchase.
