Indie Games that Are/Look Fun

I like Bit.trip RUNNER. It's quite addictive:)
Don't Starve bores me quickly, so I play that a few minutes every now and a again.

Games I'd like to try:
REUS looks quite good. Has anyone tried it yet?
Evoland
Miasmata

Maybe I should buy a few indiegames with the money I get from iPoll...

Some great indie title's I've played:

Bastion
Limbo
Awesomenauts (currently included in the latest humble bundle)
Defense Grid
Hammerfight
Machinarium
To the Moon (a truly moving story)
World of Goo
Warp (indie-ish)

I agree with everything here except hammerfight, I'm not a big fan of that.

I'll also add

  • Shank / Shank 2
  • And Yet It Moves
  • Cave Story +
  • Bit Trip Runner
  • Mark of the Ninja
  • Botanicula
  • Hotline Miami
  • Machinarium
  • Sine Mora
  • Terraria

Probably a few more I missed, but I really enjoy the ones listed here.

I love indie titles. I see The Swapper is on Steam now. Thinking of getting it. I love Terraria, Limbo, Machinarium, Bastion and Braid. Also, doesn't Kerbal Space Program qualify as an indie title? If so, that goes on my list as well.

Swapper looks creepy, has that eerie thing going on. For some reason my mind wanders of to movies like decent.

Limbo was awesome;bastion as well; braid isn't really grabbing my attention; mark of the ninja was brilliant seriously.

Have been thinking about trying shank as well, little inferno was a let down for me the game wasn't bad but it felt lacking

Oh yeah Mark of the Ninja was a blast, and so was Limbo and Bastion.

Spelunky
Orcs Must Die 1 and 2
Hundreds
Sine More LOOKS great

Wikipedia:

Mark of the Ninja is a side-scrolling action stealth video game developed by Klei Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios.

Ok, so being published by Microsoft Studios means you're indie now?

it's still indie developed. most indie games need a big publisher for distribution. super meat boy was also published by microsoft

but that has changed with steam greenlight

Yeah indie is about the developer, not the publisher. For example I don't think anyone would argue that Bastion is not an indie game, and yet it was published by Warner Brothers.
