Indie Games that Are/Look Fun

Most people have recommended what I would recommend :P

The latest good indie I came across is:
The incredible adventures of Van Helsing this will fill your Action RPG needs :)
Has up to 4 players co-op too (essentially a grittier version of torchlight 2)

Going for $15 on steam.

And FTL (Faster Than Light). It's a rogue-like spaceship management game, if you were wondering. Highly addictive.

I would also like to recommend Gunpoint, which I believe came out yesterday. It's a lot of fun, and very clever.

Does anyone know about any good "hidden object / puzzel" games where you have to find the 10 hidden items on the screen as well as an alternative to a game like neighbors from Hell.

thanks in advance.

hidden object games are a dime a dozen

can't think of anything like neighbours from hell. maybe try some of the spin-offs in the series

Rock of ages is pretty awesome too imo :D

You basically try to kill each other by knocking down their base door and running him over with a huge rock. You get gold which you use for defending your gate. Using towers/catapults/elephants to slow down your opponents. you get gold by smashing defence structures. The rock itself can be upgraded too. Has a singleplayer and multiplayer component.

Screw this. Way too close to what happens every weekday between IT and Marketing at work. I play games to escape :p

Are we including mobile games now? :D

I would include mobile games. There's a bunch of indie games on iPad that have been amazing for me. Hundreds is the one I'm stuck with atm. But also the following:
Badlands
Machinarium
Kingdom Rush HD
Stickets
Beat Sneak Bandit
The Room
Superbrothers: Swords and Sorcery
Lost Winds
Swordigio
Horn
Lili
Year Walk
Magicka
Ridiculous Fishing
Little Inferno

World of Goo came out on PC a very long time before they even thought of putting it on phones.

World of Goo was a browser flash demo first, then it was made into a full PC game. It was one of the first of the wave of indie games to get some real mainstream success.
