Infinity: The Quest for Earth

Looks good, thanks for the link man, and welcome to the forum.

Haven't really played Eve Online, but how does this differ from Eve?

I remember learning skills while offline and it seems you can do it in Infinity too?
 
Well, it's a pretty complicated game (confuses the hell out of me honestly, I had to get a friend put a lot of it into context).

I wouldn't really know how it differs form Eve since I haven't played that either, but it sounds like a pretty original game. You get your four main "classes," which is diplomacy, explorer, combat and worker (mining and all that, resources).

Cool thing with this is, since the planets are random generated you could find literally thousands of planets, too many too even list, and each one with unique properties. For anyone with a brave cap, they've released a combat prototype. I've downloaded it but trying to set it all up, I'll edit it letting you know how it is once I'm finished.

Also check out the forums for the competitions they have there, they've got some insanely good 3D artists working on this game.
