As you guys know I am planning on launching a online pc shop.
Decided on the name. But anyway enough of that.

I've been building quite a few rigs in my spare time and I will have professional photo's taken of them in the next month or two. Anyway I am busy negotiating a really big deal at the moment, so I thought I would share what I am going to be doing in the next couple of weeks.

The rig in question is priced in excess of R50 000

These are the parts we have decided on for now. Will update as soon as we decide on the GPU's and HDD's.

What do you guys think?

Main reason..He is a Apple fan of note..Believes they are the be all and end all of everything and as you know apple mac isn't exactly cheap, so we got to talking and I told him I could get him a case designed by bmw and I would build him a rig that would destroy any and everything apple has to offer. He is a BMW fanatic, So he was hooked.

I still maintain. You only live once and if you can afford too...Why not live large and enjoy life..You only get one.
 
Looks awsome , the price is just .. questionable ..
im pretty sure one could be able to build a rig that would hold its own against that beast and cost about half.

That said , the rig you are building does look damn sexy and if money wasnt a question i would have ordered one :P~~~

lol well the cpu is around R11 000, the motherboard in the region of about R6000, the case around R11 000 and the screen roughly R6000. Then there is still the question about the gpu's, hdd's ect ect :D

Noted. How feasible is it to game on a server board, say I want to have a gaming rig with 2 cpus in it.
 
This is pretty insane. The apple fans always have a lot of cash it seems. And they are quite a big market, so if you can get your foot into that area and convince them to go for a pc rather then a mac, you'd make quite the nice profit.

Have looked at the options and to be honest, seeing as the rig will be standing in his office, I think the samsung just looks much better, the styling of the stand and over all look of the screen is a win for him.

This would be the Ips monitor of choice but at 23" its not exactly eye candy xD

I should add that the rig and screen combo must be stylish and must be a feature ( he wants everyone to go WOW when they see it) and as weird as that sounds, its what the client wants.

it does look sexy on the outside for sure. Just wont be as nice as an actual screen :D

I really don't like the look of that monitor imo.
I far rather prefer the screen to have the stand in the middle of the screen compared to one of the sides. I really hope that doesn't become standard with the new series of monitor releases.
 
Really nice but I for one would only spend that kind of money(unless its a car and so on) Would be a guitar.

Same xD I could never justify spending that much, Although I am thankful for people like him, and Wenzdayz, Sickboy, IamPanga :)
