Intel Haswell CPU review roundup
Big jumps in performance-per-watt and power savings in store for buyers
Big jumps in performance-per-watt and power savings in store for buyers
Performance per watt and power savings is great and all..... but overclocking and actual performance would be nice as well.
At this point we can't have both. Its an either/or situation and even with the lack of overclocking abilities to heights we previously enjoyed. As far as performance goes, the biggest gains are going to be found in laptops and dockable tablets. Intel hasn't been paying the desktop too much attention ever since the Centrino laptop chips came out.
Unless my new job orders me a Haswell laptop when I start in July![]()
