Normally fixed line (ADSL) is better, and make sure your account is unshaped (normally then you would have capped).
 
Generally ADSL is the best choice for gaming because you get more stable connections and better latency than wireless internet connections. Apparently LTE is good for gaming as well if you want to do the wireless thing, but I have an idea that it's pretty expensive still, especially if you go through a lot of bandwidth
