30+ years IT, started on DOS 2.1 on IBM PC with 512k RAM and two floppy disk drives.
Became Network Administrator (800+ users), stopped as Data Technologist in 2001 when Govt redesigned requirements for membership of the Science Councils ... yeah, right, you know it too!
Now digitizing vinyl to CD and VHS to DVD. See www.lp2cd.za.net for info.

Like the opening post of this thread mentions, I'm a MyBB immigrant; participated in the Gaming section sometimes but I saw that there was a whole forum dedicated to gaming so I migrated here.

I previously owned a Wii but, after that got stolen, my colleagues convinced me to get an XBox. So, I not only got the XBox but got me the Kinect bundle because I love that style of gaming, especially after coming from a Wii.

Don't have much time to play because studies take up most of the year but during holidays I go all out; looking forward to end of year because that means rewarding myself with new games and . . . well . . . stuff.

haha, thanks. Regular posts can only be made if the content is interesting enough.... what I like is the possibility of interaction with lots of different people - hopefully no flame wars (I've only heard tell of such things). Anyhoo, should probably get off the intro thread
 
Hey kids, Mungo here. I mostly read sagamer after being a member of ps3za, seems like this is also a good forum to check out... I play PS3 exclusively, not because I'm a fanboy but because its the only platform I own.
