It has probably happened to most of us: your cell phone rings, but displays an unknown number, hence you ignore it.
This morning I was taking some hot water upstairs to my boss when those in nearby offices were treated to the strains of something Middle Eastern/Mediterranean. Of course, I now had two reasons to ignore it. I had a look at the call details once the hot water was safely delivered [no spills this time], and saw that it was some Durban number.

I wondered whether there was anywhere on the local web where one could do searches on numbers.

It turns out that there is

I hope that some of you will find this useful.

I dont get them here but in SA a few times I would have someone phone me and not speak or hang up, So all I would do is answer it and then stick the phone next to a speaker. Todate the longest one idiot stayed on the line was 20 minutes.
