iPhone prices over the last 10 years

Apple pulled of something pretty spectacular - they've created what economists call inelastic pricing in a market that has largely become commoditized. That's nothing short of business witchcraft. (Inelastic pricing = like diabetes meds...demand stays largely constant regardless of price)

Don't see myself switching back to Android and if it comes down to it I can rationalise 1.5k as easily as 1k. That said I'll give this round a miss...don't see any tangible improvement over my 7+
