This is a difficult scenario...I would also not like it if South Africa is used as the major war zone for any game. The thing is, many people make this very personal even though it is just a game. EA should remember this when they make games.
 
Maybe Iran will become a hugely successful game making country. This might be just what they need.
 
Lol, I dont know why they need to get so upset about it. I mean really, its just a game, literally.

Its not like their country is bustling first world utopia either, its completely cocked up!

My point is that all games need bad guyz, but only to utterly moronic would actually think all Russians secretly want to invade america yet it was the central plot of MW1 - 3, BF3 and how many others? Iran has bad press due to their lack of compliance with international nuclear rulez (which we wont get into here) and their presidents anti-western views (http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-new...-speech-sparks-un-walkout-20110923-1knnd.html) and this is just another brick in the wall. Close minded societies like Cold War Era Soviet Russia, North Korea, China (in some cases) and radical Muslim countries like Iran often take trivial matters like this as some sort of "western/Capitalist" conspiracy against them.

That is a great post, and I'd give you some reps if it would allow me to!

Even in Hitman2 if I remember correctly, there were some SA bad ous. Granted, they had pretty terrible accents but still. I was quite stoked about it :D

I dont remember an SA influence in Hitman 2, if I remember correctly it was those bloody ruskies again. I think your thinking of Far Cry 2 and those Taunting Afrikaans mercs.
