I've already played about a third of the game, as well as a bunch of the Spartan Ops stuff, and it's brilliant. I don't know why people have to be so cynical just because it's a big title - there's a reason for that, you know.
Meh. It's just, we don't really put stock in anything to fly out of the mouths of commercial review sites such as IGN. The day this game was announced it was pretty much set in stone that it was going to receive near-perfect review scores.
On the contrary, I think that if it were bad, it would be so much worse for it. When there's already a high standard set for a series, anything that falls short of that mark basically plunges into the abyss.
