Is this a good deal? Second hand graphics card

Thanks for the replies. What if I crossfire 2 7850's? Will I need a new psu still anyway? Just playing around with what I can get for 5-6 grand.

Y would you crossfire 2 7850's instead of just getting a higher end card and crossfiring that later? Buying 2 7850's limits you to 2 7850's potential and it won't get better till you splash out down the line on a high end card to replace them.
 
Bah makes sense lol. Just that this 5970 + psu would cost me about 4 grand. Surely I can spend the money better than that

Seems like a sound card, but then again, will I have to upgrade my psu as well? Just concerned cos that's another 700 odd rand. Not sure if I trust that psu calculator, it said 550w should do for the 5970.

Right last question, what about a 550w? Got another with it, Coolermaster Xtreme, so decent quality at least. Maybe just just?

Coolermaster Xtremes are not the best, the gamers extreme would the 550 you looking for. The normal Xtreme probably won't be good enough and won't be good enough in the long run.
