Party time! Excellent!
Thought it could be an interesting statistic...*

I accidentally got my wife addicted to Hay Day (which resulted in most of my tablet privileges... on MY tablet), which evolved into a Plants vs Zombies 2 addiction. And now most recently she got hooked on Sonic racing transformed (PC)

* if there's already a thread covering this I apologize profusely. I couldn't be bothered to look for one :P

Don't think candy crush counts. Tried getting the SO to join for some borderlands/Diablo fun, but that was a no go.

Yep my SO shares my love of games, which is awesome. My only wish is that there were more AAA local co-op games for us to play together.

Mmmmm My gf loves jamming games with me and she tends to spend quite a bit of time gaming when I am not around, so yeah I am a lucky man :D <3

My wife prefers hidden object games but she does play other games from time to time too. For instance she loved all the Fable games, the two Syberia games, Beyond Good and Evil and so forth.

At times the fiancé plays more games than I do, she completed titles I never got around to. She played mostly console before we moved in together, but after I gave her a gaming rig she became a serious gamer. Bought Skyrim for her in 2013 and had to bribe her with food and drink to get her to leave it alone. She is currently playing PSN classics like Parasite Eve 2 and Okami while she is waiting for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

I'm lucky, my wife likes games, mostly Tomb Raider and we have played Split Second to death.

Also, my wife doesnt mind me playing games or going on the odd LAN.

My wife only plays Candy Crush, Peggle and hidden object games. Tried getting her to play other puzzle titles...no go. Tried Portal...no go.

Her reasons are either (1) Too difficult (2) too violent (3) boring or (4) doesn't make sense

my wife occasionally plays games.
She enjoys co-op call of duty, she loves shooting zombies :)
other than that she enjoys playing puzzle games or plants vs zombies on steam.
O yes before i forget, SIMS 3 on origin.

My wife doesn't enjoy games at all. She gets bored with them very quickly. The best that I can do to get her to join is to play board games. Normally, she'll prefer to read, watch something or make something.

My GF only plays games with bright colors (her words, not mine) :o She did grind some proper gold in Diablo 3 when the Auction House was still active on my account.

Only game we play religiously together is Borderlands 2 if we have no plans for the weekend. When we got it we played until 4 am the Saturday morning. I had to beg her to go to sleep. She wakes me up at 7, "[insert name] wake up! I need help with this boss. Don't worry I already put on your PC and made coffee." :D

I recently bought us Trine 2 during the Steam Summer Sale but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

My wife is mainly a casual gamer (on the iPhone) but we once played through and finished Super Mario Brothers Wii together (and I actually wouldn't have been able to do it without her!). She's also quite fond of de Blob.

All my ex-boyfriends have been non-gamers.

Please note the "ex" part. It's a big contributing factor.

I'm trying to get mine into gaming and have had mixed results. She is like me in the sense that the PS3 controller is just not working for her. So looking to build her a gaming pc when I have the funds. She did managed to finish Heavy Rain though. She also seems to like Dragon Age, but we've put that on hold since combat is a mission with the PS3 controller so I got her Skyrim instead and that seems to keep her amused. I think ever since I showed her Game of Thrones, she seems to like the genre now. :)
