isthereanydeal.com is brilliant for PC Gaming bargain hunters

I finally found what i was looking for, in the form of http://isthereanydeal.com/

It brilliantly collates all the best specials around from a huge number of digital distributors and keeps you posted. you can even import your steam wishlist and get notifed when stuff goes cheap online :-)

what i also dig is that it shows you historical pricing, so you can see what's the cheapest its been in the past to work out if its a good deal or not.

just thought i'd share this and find out of you guys use any other means to track bargains and sales. I swear, i think i enjoy the "deal" more than the game :o

lol, first thing I did was check your post count, thought I was going to see 1 or 2 posts.

Thank you for the link!

LOL :-) given that i've been around since May 2009, its safe to say that i'm NOT a bot :-P

but in hindsight, reading the thread title again, it does not a little cheesy :-(

I use this, similar concept though:

http://www.thedealbreaker.co.za/

actually, its very different. I have rss feed to dealbreak. they are locally based and report on a wide variety of specials., while isthereanydeal.com is purely for online pc games. but they track a HUGE variety of sales and specials, not just humble and Steam. and they will notify you if something you want is on special. its a lot more interactive

Ok thanks! Will give it a try soon and report back.

Nah, nothing wrong with your heading, just that I've got a paranoid mind and that's the first thing that pops up when I see a deal that sounds too good to be true. I think its a sign that I've been around the net for too long. :o

Thanks @Hiro, I find thedealbreaker.co.za lacking decent updates and consistency and basically use cheapshark, however this a a brilliant addition since I frequent GMG and GF the most.

And there goes my budget once again if you guys keep this up my missus is going to start rounding up mygaming members to see who the culprit is

great site dude!

thanks for the link, another website to add to my ever growing list of deal websites xD

you welcome dude. but once you have THIS site, you don't even need to bother checking the other deal sites. this wonderfully streamlines the entire process :-) that's why i dig it and wanted to share it with the forum

Thanks a lot to the both of ya :D. Perpetually hooking up the homies

I go one step further and use Steam enhanced edition. Works with Chrome and Firefox and links Steam with http://isthereanydeal.com/ mentioned above.

Basically it turns this old view of steam into this with all the info you need from isthereanydeal, be it specials, bundles or historical low pricing and even color coding what games & DLC's you have(Green) vs your wishlist(blue) and more.

Edit: Oh and to watch for bundle's as they come out, nothing beats Bundle tracker
