Resuurection wasn't too bad, he says

We all know IT support staff who think they're God and we've all been to worship at the Apple Genius Bar, but we've found one techie who actually believes that he is Jesus Christ.

Former IT specialist Alan John Miller runs his own religious movement – the Divine Truth – in the town of Kingaroy in Queensland, Australia.

Mr Miller, once an elder in the Jehovah's Witnesses, claims that he is Jesus Christ, and his partner, Australian Mary Luck, is Mary Magdalene.

He told Sky News: "I have very clear memories of the crucifixion, but it wasn't as harrowing for me as it was for others like Mary who was present."

"When you are one with God you are not in a state of fear, and you have quite good control over your body's sensations and the level of pain that you absorb from your body."

After his crucifixion the Australian IT guru claims he entered the spirit world where he met Plato, Socrates, popes and presidents.

He also claims that he remembers performing miracles: "I did resurrect quite a number of people ... including a friend of mine Lazarus, who most people know is mentioned in the Bible."

Brit Louise "Luli" Faver, 39, is a former neuroscientist gave up her career to be closer to the couple.

"It's just nice to instead of being surrounded by people who think you are nuts, to be surrounded by people who understand what you are going through and the difficulties of trying to deal with all the emotional stuff," she said.

What really scares me about guys like this is,why oh why do people buy it. I mean from a christian perspective you already know its nuts because well if Jesus appears that's the end we would all be at judgment / Rapture etc...

Pretty sure I read this long ago somewhere or is it a different guy in Australia with Mary as his wife.

Poor chap. He's obviously got some mental illness and it's being displayed for public amusement.

Hey man, I'm not trying to start anything. :)

Not all of us are believers though. Those who are, are welcome to it. I'm not hating. Ichigo and I go back and forth quite a bit, that's all.

Hear you, no offense taken here. More of a caution as a seemingly benign post like that can spiral quickly out of control.
