It's a wide world - and these are some of the widest

Pooky, I've been wondering... What race do you usually play as and what's your play style?

Morrowind:

Each time I play I usually start a different race; but last time I played I started a dark elf.

Skyrim:

When I first played I used an Orc if I remember correctly. They are the most badass fighting characters IMO even if others can fight better, they just look dangerous.

However, my latest save is an Altmer (I think, I haven't played for a while) as I have found magic to be really fun and it's really cool to have an assortment of spells to choose from.

My play style for an Elder Scrolls game is to start off slow and do random quests that I may come across. However, if I start a quest line, I generally stick with the same one until completion. I always hold off on the main quest for a while until I have bceome more experienced in terms of skills and levels.

Fact:
If you play morrowind and you go straight for the main quest your gone get your butt whipped at basicly evry part of it.beside first thing I do is go visit old creeper or mudcrab (mudcab can be a pain to remeber where he is)

Fact - what you wrote makes absolutely no sense ;)

Ah, neato :D

Thanks for the response.

I tend to switch between three races: Khajiit, Altmer and Breton, depending on my mood and always a pure mage, because mages rock. Yo.

However, that's one of my big gripes with TES--it's almost impossible to really feel as though being a pure mage is a real option (levelling becomes a chore/tedious and this is where the level system really falls apart, in my honest opinion).

:D

That's why I use GCD for Morrowind (can't find the link on TESNexus): http://www.moddb.com/games/morrowind/addons/galsiahs-character-development

Skyrim is great for Magic characters - just takes some time. But there is also this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9286/?

Translation:

Fact: If you start Morrowind and immediately try to complete the main quest, you will not be able to, or it will be extremely hard. First thing he does is visit either Creeper or Mudcrab (merchants). They have some exploit which allow you to do something useful (I forget what).

Morrowind is full of awesome exploit-like things like that.
