Well using the 800D because of all of the mods that have been done to it. If I had to use a 900D the cost of the case with all the mods would have been R7000 xD

That's the whole idea behind it, using parts that are locally available that can be sourced through either myself or Rebeltech.
 
What I find interesting is the Cougar PSU. I've seen the brand around but never bothered to read any reviews, just writing it off as a cheap almost-ran product. But if you are using it in your build I may have to take a closer look at it for future builds.

Cougar actually make really good products, the thing is they are rather expensive xD
I won't be using a cougar psu though ;)

Will add pics of parts soon so keep calm and guess for the time being lol

OK, cool. I haven't seen anything other than their PSU's (and not in real life, only on pricelists). Looking forward to the big reveal.

Had a issue yesterday where 3 brand new x79 boards died, thanx to Asus and their bios update that isn't working properly.

Well yeah I wasn't happy, but spoke to Rune now and he just got off the phone with them, they swapped out the bios chip and now repacking the bios and that seems to have sorted the issue. So at least it'll be sorted a little bit later today.

Kudo's to Rune and Asus (Chris) for getting this sorted within 24 hours.
