Frankly, let these idiots develop for the consoles only. I'm getting sick and tired of having to sit with crap in games like Oblivion and Fallout 3, where the interface was oh-so-obviously made for a console, even though it's ridiculously cumbersome when you have a mouse and ~100 keys to choose from.

Yeah, I know, it's unlikely to happen, but damnit, one can dream. There will always be a market for PC games, and if the big developers lose interest, then I'm pretty sure that smaller developers will move back in, and we might just see the gaming industry get a healthy dose of originality.

We can only hope that people will stick to it and not buy the game. Show them how many PC gamers there are actually out there that are tired of this BS.

It would be awesome if we could get some of the Distributors onboard to cancel their orders that would be epic but alas they not bothered i guess. Up to the gamers themselves.

Im not paying R500 for a single player game i said that from the beginning.
 
And to think I am getting Dragon Age CE for R600 and I get a cloth map and all kinds of extra goodies. And with COD md2 you get a plastic box with a lil book and cd key, and what for a 4 hour single player game(speculation on game play hours)
 
This has me really bummed :(

I haven't bought/played games for a while because my PC was messed up. MW2 was the only other game apart from PES10 and FM10 that I wanted to get and now this. :mad:
 
I'm not a PC gamer, but I do sympathize with you dudes. How they can justify going backwards in terms of hosting to P2P is beyond me.
We can just hope for a new FPS developer which will take the crown from IW soon. Think their success has gone to their heads.
 
Bliksem that's alot of sigs. I don't think it will work though, it's not like their bound to law to change their minds if the petition reaches xx amount, are they?
 
4mil odd dollars is a drop in the ocean for such a hugely anticipated game. Doubt they will even consider it.
 
It is alot of money, but, I wouldn't be surprised if half of them or even more will still buy the game. Curious to see the outcome of this either way.
 
I'm going to cancel my order if the continue one bit. The developers are a bunch of idiots. If they just listen to the community they will make event more money. FFS thye can't just make as they wish. like I said before the customer is always in charge. If they want something you must give them what they want in the game.

IW suck BIG time. I have no respect for them anymore.
 
will probably end up buying this for ps3 as my pc is too carp to run it...

and multiplayer will be cooler i suppose (not this iw.net rubbish...)

as long as there's SA servers

Assassins Creed 1 and Splinter Cell Conviction spring to mind.......

Also the Splinter cell Double agent debacle which rendered it unplayable to 8800 series owners for over 8 months, without a single patch. Petitions and huge forum threads were also made.

Conviction which is also following the same path that alan wake has. First said to be on PC, then became a 360 exclusive, same with Conviction. Somewhere it has now become a console exclusive aswell.

Assassins Creed is great but I've never played conviction yet. Ubisoft is one of the last big but not overly greedy companies out there.
