Yeah that's been mentioned before. I also agree. Not every Jim episode needs it's own thread. Doing it this way doesn't exactly stimulate discussion either...

I think the idea is to discuss whatever the guy talked about. I've never watched any of his videos though, and I doubt most other people do, which is probably why the only discussion that ever happens in these threads, is whether or not these threads should exist.

I actually watch his videos every single week, but I generally do so on the weekends (I can't and shouldn't watch vids at work). The threads are usually stale by the time I've watched the vid then.

Despite the fact that Jim Sterling is an arrogant and annoying a-hole, I generally like what he has to say and agree with him on most accounts. If you guys can get past his abrasive style, I think that most people here would enjoy or at least could learn from the things that he has to say.

Still think a single thread would be better, people could still discuss the latest vid posted in the thread. Seeing it every week I kind start thinking its advertising.
 
I'm trying to get discusion going here in the hope it will lower the pointless posts in other threads. They are often very relevent to what is happening in the gaming industry presently and thus easy to discuss which will help guys looking for posts. I would rather this than 5 pages of comments under computer hardware all saying "nice build". However that never happens and the previous thread always drops down to the bottom of the page and becomes irrelevent. I'm fairly certain a single thread would attract even less comment and just be a list of his episodes.

True. I'd personally rather see this (relevant) post once a week than some of the other "Off Topic" crap that invariably pops in the What's New tab.
