Every so often , you get a movie that feels epic grand and full of scale
One that dares you to imagine . While not everyone may like it , not really sure how anyone wont but I am sure
some will , I am glad I saw this movie. From the moment it starts it draws you in , and from there just builds.
For a book that spouted every other sci fi movie and hero from Superman to Star wars , the Movie of the book
Feel's Epic.
Must watch I would say and yes watch it on the Big screen it is worth it.

Have you seen it what do you think

I watched this last night and found it incredibly tedious. It started off okay and the last half hour or so was quite epic, but I could've gladly slept through most of the tepid dialogue and mediocre action that made up the middle.

6/10 IMHO.

Typical reviewers comments, and reaction hahahahahaha... :p

Two of the five friends I watched it with fell asleep about 20 minutes in. How's that for an honest review? :D

The 3d was so terrible with this movie. It was to long winded and I really did not enjoy it.
And the girl that I took to see it with(she wanted to see it)fell asleep in it for a few seconds :p

Perfect time to Do the popcorn trick

well don't watch 3d unless its shot for 3d , bit harsh falling of to sleep but you must have been tired lol
well I read the book before watching it and figured it was quite awesome , yes i agree they could have trimmed it to make the pace of the movie faster but overall i liked

I admit it, I really liked it. I intentionally just watched it because of Taylor Kitsch (Timm Riggins more like ;)) and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

I managed to stay awake for the entire duration of the film, and not being a seasoned and perhaps jaded moviegoer, or maybe not one with well-developed critical faculties, rather enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it very much. Except in some cases it was not like I thought it would be compared to the book. It's like a dessert version of Avatar. :p

Still a great movie in my personal opinion.

Yeah I also thought the movie was pretty decent. But it was a tad to long though.

I enjoyed it. Been a Barsoom fan since childhood so it was nice to see a less B rated version.

Slight mix between the books I believe? Using bits from a few (could be wrong, have not read them in 20 years or so).

I watched this last night at Canal Walk in 3D. Took the family and we actually enjoyed it. I thought it had enough humor, action, adventure and story to make a good film. I think their downfall were restrictions due to it being a PG no age restriction Disney movie. Should they have added some stuff of legend and tweaked the story for an older crowd, they probably would have had a more successful movie. I still enjoyed it though and won't tell anyone not to watch it.

i liked it, sure it was a bit long, but without the emotional stuff it would have irked me how he could fall for her so quickly. I have never read the books, but watching this has made me want to :)

Me and the wife went to see it at Galleria, i was quite enthralled by the movie, i really thought it could also be a bit more *mature*, but heck, one can't have everything in life.
