If he is going to quote the bible why focus on the obscure when some really obvious places say he can't predict it?
 
It's for money, I'm pretty convinced of that now. Especially his reactions when confronted with the fact that there are homeless and jobless people now because of this. He says "We didn't tell them to give us money, and we're not giving it back." In other words, he's telling them deal with it.

Con artist at it's best there.

If the world ends before Diablo III comes out, I'm gonna have to have a sit down with the higher power responsible and demand some compensation. and some damn ice-cream.
