Julius Malema wants charges dropped

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema will make representations to a judge on Thursday in an attempt to have charges against him dropped.

The expelled ANC Youth League president faces charges of fraud, corruption, money-laundering, and racketeering.

It is alleged that he made nearly R4 million from corrupt activities.

If charges aren't dropped his case will go to trial in september, wtf. Why do we have to wait a year before the trial, seriously this is pathetic.
 
What reason can he give for them to drop the charges anyway? I don't want to stand trial? Tough... I'm innocent? That's what a trial is there to determine...
 
Well I'm glad the aren't dropping charges. Still have to love the logic, I'll just ask for charges to be dropped with nothing to support the why.
