Was there and wasted R50 bucks on entrance fee. The best part rAge was my trip there and the hackerless BC2 servers this weekend online!! Doing a nice 190km/h on the bike. :D As for the online this weekend, it was so much fun. No shit, no idiots, no 13 year old proving his manliness by swearing etc. Last night again, all was back to normal though.

Seriously though, is wasn't bad, but it was no different to walking around in a PC shop. Really. You could go to Inc Con and experience the same thing. There were some really nice looking babes, but other than that, nope. I'm really glad I did not attend the LAN. There was simply no wow factor. Nothing that blew me away. Nothing that even mildly impressed me. So yeah, waste of time and I will skip another year or two and hope.

PS The first time I saw people on the Wii, I thought they looked like real idiots. Fear no more Wii users, for your crown of ultimate stupidity has been snatched away and given to, drumroll... the Kinect users. Man those people looked like idiots. Looked like fish caught out of water flailing about. Maybe it's just me, but it really looks goofy.
 
PS, as for specials? Yeah right. You could probably find the same stuff cheaper online. The only decent pricing I saw was from the Computersonly guys. They seemed to be extremely busy. I understand the resellers can also only discount so much, but why do the suppliers not come to the party a bit more?

Who else saw the dancer chick on one of the podiums showcasing the XBOX Kinect? That entire podium was wobbling so much that the music playing through the console started to skip! I thought we were going to see an EPIC youtube moment lol
 
Saw the chick, but she looked bored out of her skull. Didn't notice the wobbling though as I was sniggering way too much seeing this people flail about like idiots.
 
So basicly it hasn't changed at all since the last few days I have been there. Last year was the first time I went in 5 years and that was only because dao was available as a playable demo. The rest of the event was a lucklustre and even the dao playable demo was very lacklustre compared to how it was present at other expo's that year.

Sorry but the nag lan may be worth it but expo is very poor and lacklustre. Offers nothing new for anyone that keeps informed about games. Sorry if the local community may get upset at me for criticising the event( that's happen at other forums before...) but it simple doesn't measure up at all to the other gaming expo's.

I could be more forgiving if the expo had actually made strides every time I have been there but its stay very much the same with all the amount of vendors increasing.
