Just Cause 2 Multiplayer

Does anyone have any info on the multiplayer aspect of Just cause 2? I know that some people are working on it. There was a website for it, it got taken down in the mean time though so does that mean it's dead?
 
As far as I'm aware there is and never will be a multiplayer... as much as I love that game and the time I spend playing it, there won't be a MP sorry, I have checked... :rolleyes:

It's all good said that someone is working on it, but I doubt a MP will be released at all. :(
 
Unlikely to be released. There has been little to no word on it's development from what I see. I also don't think many would actually play it.
 
My fears confirmed,

The last that I read about it was a couple of months ago when Eidos actually took over the development of the multiplayer aspect from some online community. And then opened this nice site that only said Just Cause 2 mulitplayer is under development. Couple of months later the website closed down.

Such a sad thing, I think it would have been epic to grapple a friend while they are parachuting! Or you fly a plane and the friend stands on the back of it taking care of any... obstructions :P
